TOP CEMENTING PLUGS
MACKERAL’s Top Cementing Plug is designed to replace conventional cementing plug systems. By replacing the aluminum and rubber core material in conventional plugs with a large crushable plastic core most of the rubber is eliminated, allowing the drill bit to fracture the plastic rather than tear the rubber and aluminum thus significantly reducing drill out times. These plugs are PDC drillable.
Available in 3 1/2″ to 30 “sizes
MACKERAL’s Non Rotating Top Cementing Plugs are designed to decrease drill out time. This series of cementing plugs use reinforced locking teeth built into the plugs, which lock together between the plugs and the float equipment to eliminate rotation of the plugs during drill out. The body of the plugs is manufactured using a plastic core which eliminates aluminum and large mass of rubber found in conventional cementing plugs. No metal parts are used and the plugs are completely PDC (polycrystalline diamond compact) drillable
Available in 3 1/2″ to 30 “sizes
MACKERAL’s Top Plug Aluminum Core is manufactured with an aluminum insert and are rubber coated and operational in either synthetic or mud fluids.
1.The plugs are available in 16″ to 20″.
2.Top plug is manufactured in black natural rubber.
3.Operating range is up to 275° F.
4.Plugs can be ordered in Viton material allowing for higher operating temperatures
BOTTOM CEMENTING PLUGS
MACKERAL’s Bottom Cementing Plug is designed to replace conventional cementing plug systems. By replacing the aluminum and rubber core material in conventional plugs with a large crushable plastic core most of the rubber is eliminated, allowing the drill bit to fracture the plastic rather than tear the rubber and aluminum thus significantly reducing drill out times. COMBINATION CEMENTING PLUGS
MACKERALS’s Combination Top/Bottom Cementing Plugs involves wiping inner diameter of two or more casing strings in one wiping action. These plugs allows tapered casing strings to be cemented while ensuring efficient wiping of the cement from different casing IDs in the string.
They are Designed and tested to withstand 5,000 psi differential pressure. The different sizes of Rubber Fins which help in wiping on the casing walls as well as assist in displacing the cement in one step. It is made of graded rubber. These Plugs are completely PDC drillable.
available in 2-3/8″ to 13-3/8″ size.
MACKERAL’S ANTI-ROTATING CEMENTING PLUG involves wiping inner diameter of two or more casing strings in one wiping action. These plugs allows tapered casing strings to be cemented while ensuring efficient wiping of the cement from different casing IDs in the string.

Both the cementing plugs – Top Cementing Plug and Bottom Cementing Plug are manufactured with Auto Lock Profile which on bumping automatically locks in each other, and restricts rotation of cementing plugs while drill out. Once engaged, the thread profile in these plugs prevent the plug from being disengaged from the collar due to pressure from below or during drill out
